the engagement

This is Jenny's account from Wedding.com or whatever....  Needs to be expanded but it'll do for now.

HOW THEY GOT ENGAGED: We planned to stay at home for the evening and make Mai Tai's and lay by the pool, eating English pies and pasties. Chris placed the Moulin Rouge soundtrack on and told Heather he had a new magic trick. They started eating, and Heather asked Chris to show her the new trick. Heather shuffled the cards, and had to think of a card. The card was the 7 of hearts. Chris told Heather to turn over the top card on the deck. It happened to be the 9 diamonds. Chris was disappointed as the trick had failed. He then asked Heather to check in the card box, which was empty. He then closed up the box and shook it. The box rattled. He opened the box, and inside was a diamond ring. Heather's response was: "What's that?" Chris: "A ring" Heather: "Whose is that?" Chris: "No one's yet" I'm not really sure what was said next. Chris then got down on one knee and asked: "Will you put up with me for the rest of your life?" Heather: " yes I will" Chris then put the song on from Moulin Rouge, "Come What May"
